Tank Bridge

This older scale model of a tank bridge is an excellent example of the versatility of a mechanical model. There are three different positions for this tank model, demonstrating the closed, half-open, and fully opened position of the bridge. Mechanical models with moving parts are useful for studying how the design functions and how the form of the object can change.
