This basswood massing architecture site model was created for Perkins + Will architects of the University of Virginia expansion. The site of this model is constructed from laser-cut basswood sheets that are layered up, while the buildings are milled from solid basswood. A nice basswood-trimmed base finishes the model. Basswood is an excellent way to really bring a massing model to life with a warm, unifying effect.
