El Malpais NM

This is a topographic model of the El Malpais National Conservation area in Cibola County, New Mexico. This model, which serves as a 3D relief map and covers over 1700 square miles, features a gray-scale graphical representation of different magma flows from several ancient volcanic sites inside the conservation area. The park is a very popular destination for hikers and cavers.
