U. S. Navy Hovercraft

This hovercraft was commissioned by the U. S. Navy for military and special operations, developed in partnership with Lockheed-Martin and Textron. This large engineering mock-up model served as a demonstrator to advance the idea of this powerful new form of landing craft which could access more than 80% of the world’s coastlines with a top speed of 40 knots. Nothing is better than a three-dimensional prototype model to depict and sell an entirely new concept.
